Friday national day of mourning in Belgium

At least 28 people, including 22 children, have died in a bus accident in an alpine tunnel in Switzerland. The children were returning to Belgium from a skiing holiday in Val d'Anniviers and would be home on Wednesday.
The bus hit a wall on Tuesday night in the motorway tunnel running from east to west and exiting at Sierre in the Swiss canton of Valais.
The bus was carrying 52 passengers from the cities of Lommel and Heverlee in Flanders, and was registered in Belgium. Most of the children were aged about 12. Six Dutch children were involved in the accident.
Citizens sign the condolences book at Lommel Town Hall in front of photographs of children who died in the Swiss bus crash.

It is a terrible tragedy indeed. My thoughts go to the families and friends of the deceased.

No words ........ just tears .....
My thoughts go out to the family, friends and classmates of those who passed and for those that are still in the hospital. My heart goes out to the emergency services that had the grim task of clearing up.
