Rebuilding River Island part 1

When we moved to River Island  I placed the club at the corner of the sim and build a city around it. Over the course of time I made changes and placed new buildings. New parts had to fit and I did my best to get them in the space that was left.
When RIPA asked us to build there theater on River Island I was honored and build a platform for the theater and started to build club T.R.A.C.S there also and other buildings. On the sim I removed the old club and on the open space I pushed in some new builds but because of the small area it was always a struggle to squeeze parts in it.
When RIPA left we had two cities. One in the air and one on the ground of the sim. I placed a big building were the theater stood and went on with the scenery there and neglected the ground part.
▲ A older snapshot of the base of the sim. The city is bottom left.
           ▲ The city.
▲ This is the city in the air.
▲ Club T.R.A.C.S on Timothy Plaza
▲ This is te big building I mentioned. It is made by [AC] Aethis Creations
▲At the top of this building a part of it has no roof and there I build a water and a cactus garden.
I love how I decorated that part.

▲▼ I forgot to mention a second platform in the air. It is a dome that was intended to be a landing zone                        were you could teleport to other parts on the sim. It was never used and been cleaned up.

World Chocolate Day

World Chocolate Day, referred to, in some instances, as International Chocolate Day, is an annual observance that occurs globally on 7 July. References to World Chocolate Day being observed on 7 July have been recorded as early as 2009. Celebration of the day includes the consumption of chocolate. Some references indicate that this day celebrates the introduction of chocolate to Europe in 1550.
Many other chocolate day celebrations exist, such as National Chocolate Day in the United States on 28 October. Confusingly, the U.S. National Confectioners Association lists 13 September as International Chocolate Day.

Other more specific chocolate-themed days are celebrated throughout the world, including Bittersweet Chocolate Day on 10 January, Milk Chocolate Day on 28 July, White Chocolate Day on 22 September, and Chocolate Covered Anything Day on 16 December.

Do you want to know more about chocolate? Than read this post I made in 2014.

BLOG POST NUMBER ONE THOUSAND

For all who expected another blog post from Chris at this place, I (Tim) have to disappoint you as you will have to read my first humble attempts as a guest blogger.
But I wanted to use this opportunity, for sure also in the name of all other followers, for a big thank you to Chris for nearly 5 years and 999 blog posts full of information, entertainment, and fun all around his fantastic builds on our sim, the awesome T.R.A.C.S parties with never ending new creative themes, our countless visits at other parties like at Sweetgrass, of exploring Second Life, lots of music and not to forget the hilarious fail compilations.
Through all the ups and downs, besides all the other activities, Chris did always continue and got a higher and higher number of followers (not only because he likes to ask Trivia questions on parties based on his posts) and fellow bloggers he got connected with.
I am sure you all looking forward to his next post....so I will not keep you longer reading...and will end with thanking Chris for all his efforts and hoping there will be much more years and thousands blogs more to come !
We love you Chris !

COFFEE AND TEA chapter II

Not a real new chapter about coffee and tea.
I will not tell you about the production of coffee and tea. Also not more information about coffee shops in the Netherlands and that we are a country that consumes a lot of coffee.
I not had the time to do more research about; if tea makes you gay.

I am sorry, but the last few days I'm very busy on River Island
I am rebuilding parts of the sim, the club and our house. Lots of the builds is now mesh.
Okay, I did found some time to do some rebuilding at myself.
But the parties will go one and River Island is, as always, free to visit.

Letter To My Penis

Lets see how much Viagra spam I get publishing this song of Rodney Carrington.

Rodney Scott Carrington (born October 19, 1968, in Longview, Texas) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and country music artist. He has released six major-label studio albums and a greatest-hits package, on Mercury Records and Capitol Records. His comedy act typically combines stand-up comedy and original songs. Carrington has also starred in the sitcom Rodney and in the 2008 film Beer for My Horses.

Spam in blogs (also called simply blog spam, comment spam, or social spam) is a form of spamdexing. (Note that blogspam also has another meaning, namely the post of a blogger who creates no-value-added posts to submit them to other sites.) It is done by posting (usually automatically) random comments or promoting commercial services to blogs, wikis, guestbooks, or other publicly accessible online discussion boards. Any web application that accepts and displays hyperlinks submitted by visitors may be a target.

End of the World

Masses of people believe that you not have to worry about the Christmas dinner or gifts for under the Christmas tree: Friday, December 21 the world ends anyway.
Numerous sects and movements think they know how you can survive the end times. The French Bugarach, a village with about 200 inhabitants somewhere in a corner of the Pyrenees, attracts so many people who think that the only place in the world on Friday sparing it from 19 to 23 December, closed by local authorities who fear that the village can not handle the crowds.
As Bugarach, also the Turkish village of Sirince is, some say, such a safe place. Although the residents themselves do not believe, all hotels are already booked up well in advance by doomsday tourists.

And as with any impending disaster comes, even now people are trying to better themselves from it. In the Crimea in Ukraine you can play against a princely fee spend some time in a champagne cellar. A Chinese developed special survival-balls which you can hide two months against all the natural disasters that the world awaits.

So this could be my last post....................................
But as Vera Lynn song: ...........................................
We'll meet again

 We'll meet again,
 Don't know where,
 Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
 Keep smiling through,
 Just like you always do
Till the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away

So will you please say "Hello"
To the folks that I know
Tell them I won't be long
 They'll be happy to know
That as you saw me go
 I was singing this song

We'll meet again,
 Don't know where,
 Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day

We'll meet again,
Don't know where
 Don't know when.
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day.
 Keep smiling through
 Just like you always do,
 'Til the blue skies
Drive the dark clouds far away
 So will you please say"Hello"
To the folks that I know.
Tell them I won't be long.
 They'll be happy to know
That as you saw me go,
 I was singin' this song.

We'll meet again,
 Don't know where,
 Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day

Music Playlist

Sadly, there is no more music on this blog.
The playlist doesn't even show up on my blog. So I removed the player. I just hope this statement is true:
"We'll have some information on exporting your playlist information soon."
It's unsure if a find a good alternative player.

If I Only Had Time

I hope that soon I can be more in Second Life and Blog more!
                            Love you all,
                            Christo

If I Only Had Time

If I only had time, only time

So much to do
If I only had time, if I only had time
Dreams to pursue
If I only had time, they'd be mine

Time like the wind
Goes hurrying by and the hours just fly
Where to begin
There are mountains I'd climb if I had time

Since I met you (both) I've thought
Life really is too short

Loving you (both of you)
So many things we could make true
A whole century
Isn't enough to satisfy me

Time like the wind
Goes hurrying by and the hours just fly
Where to begin
There are mountains I'd climb if I had time

If I only had time, only time

Murphy's Law

Last week it seems that everything went wrong. First my rl father fall and had to go to the hospital. Than my cell phone fall and crashed on the ground and last, and I hope least, the flashplayer on my blog stopped playing. Gladly my dad is home again and I got a new cell phone. Oops, smart phone. If the flashplayer and the music will return is unsure. The site, flashwidgetz. com is not longer accessible. I not found a good replacement, so maybe it will stay silent on my blog.

Murphy's Law is an adage or epigram that is typically stated as:
"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong".

According to the book A History of Murphy's Law by author Nick T. Spark, differing recollections years later by various participants make it impossible to pinpoint who first coined the saying Murphy's law. The law's name supposedly stems from an attempt to use new measurement devices developed by the eponymous Edward Murphy. The phrase was coined in adverse reaction to something Murphy said when his devices failed to perform and was eventually cast into its present form prior to a press conference some months later — the first ever (of many) conferences given by Dr. John Stapp, a U.S. Air Force colonel and Flight Surgeon in the 1950s. These conflicts (a long running interpersonal feud) were unreported until Spark researched the matter. His book expands upon and documents an original four part article published in 2003 (Annals of Improbable Research (AIR) on the controversy: Why Everything You Know About Murphy's Law is Wrong.

Flash Player

One of the reason I started blogging was the music option. That way I could publish lyrics with the song on the background. I had to change the flash player after a few months because I could not listen to the music because of restrictions.
Already for some time, I use Flashwidgetz on my blog and I am happy with it. Okay, mostly. But I never said something how to use. Here a manual.
You can switch off the background music by clicking the II button on the Flashplayer at the the bottom of this page.

The Second Life Blogger group & Social Media

It seems I can not longer ignore other social web pages. I have a Blogger account and I am on Facebook. I joint Facebook because my SL sister Jenna wanted to share some of her pictures but that is all I do with Facebook.

So what is social media?
Social media includes web-based and mobile technologies used to turn communication into interactive dialogue. Andreas Kaplan and Michael Haenlein define social media as "a group of Internet-based applications that build on the ideological and technological foundations of Web 2.0, and that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated content." Social media is media for social interaction as a super-set beyond social communication. Enabled by ubiquitously accessible and scalable communication techniques, social media has substantially changed the way organizations, communities, and individuals communicate.

Yesterday Joaopedro Oh asked be if I am on Flickr so that I could see his pictures. I told him that I was not and that I already have work enough with my Blogger account. But I was curious about his pictures so I joint Flickr. Today I was reading Bock McMillian's and Eddi Haskell's post about "SL Bloggers Group Back in Business...". So I sent in my application to join the group and joined Twitter.
Please not hate me when I'm lazy.
