AMSTERDAM - the boats parade on the canals of Amsterdam attracted Saturday afternoon approximately 380 000 visitors. This is considerably less than the past two years. Last year a record number of 560,000 people took a look at the Canal Parade, a year earlier it was almost 500,000. According to some visitors, the rain played tricks on the spectacle. "But the atmosphere is amazing," they said.
A number of 80 boats glide through the canals of Amsterdam. This year it was extra special because the Gaypride have her 15-year anniversary.
The theme this year was therefore 'Celebrate '.
