Care for you

Michael Bernard Fitzgerald composer/performer
There is not much biographical info.
On Facebook he wrote:
My name is Michael Bernard Fitzgerald. I sing songs occasionally.
I'm a dog man with a good plan and two hands.
Hometown: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

His songs make us smile.
His simply sweet piano song, and crowd favourite, “Care For You,” gives a first date play-by-play that ends with the lyrics, “I’ll thank you for this date/Apologize for getting you home so late/You’ll turn around/A goodnight kiss without a sound.” If that isn’t enough to make your lips curl up at the corners, his trademark daisy tied to his guitar will.

Care for you Lyrics

I'll pick you up at eight
 We'll go on a date
 I'll wear my finest clothes
Take you to a place where no one knows
 We'll eat dinner there
 And I'll take extra care
To pull out your chair for you
Baby girl I'll care for you

Then our car will ride
 Fanciest limo in sight
In it the things you love
 Champagne and the stars above
At the curb of my favorite spot
Ushered in, we'll say thanks a lot
 They're playing your favorite song
I asked the DJ to put it on
 We'll dance through the night

That's when I'll take you home
You make sure I've got the number for your phone
 Then we'll say goodbye
You open the door and whisper goodnight
I thank you for this date
Apologize for getting you home so late
 And then you turn around
A goodnight kiss without a sound
I'll pull out your chair for you
Baby girl I'll care for you

*alright sing it with me*
O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O

I'll pick you up at eight
 We'll go on a date
 I'll wear my finest clothes
Take you to a place where no one knows
 We'll eat dinner there
 And I'll take extra care
To pull out your chair for you
Baby girl I'll care for you
