Last Friday Night

A funny video. You have to watch till the end. I meant, include credits.
"Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" is a song by American recording artist Katy Perry. The track was written by Perry, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Bonnie McKee and was produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin. It is the fifth single from Perry's third studio album, Teenage Dream, and peaked at #4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in just its fourth week on the chart and #3 on the Canadian Hot 100. Like all of Perry's previous Teenage Dream singles, it topped the Hot Digital Songs and Hot Dance Club chart. As of July 13, 2011 "Last Friday Night" has sold over 1,259,000 copies in the US.

Katy Perry (born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson; October 25, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Born in Santa Barbara, California, and raised by Christian pastor parents, Perry grew up listening to only gospel music and sang in her local church as a child. After earning a GED during her first year of high school, she began to pursue a career in music. As Katy Hudson, she released a self-titled gospel album in 2001, which was unsuccessful. She later recorded an album with production team The Matrix and completed the majority of a solo album from 2004–5, neither of which were released.

Critical reception about the song
The song has received mixed to positive reception from music critics. Allmusic picked it among the top tracks on the album, and said that Perry "salutes fellow attention-whore Kesha on 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)'". Rolling Stone said that "Perry likes her songs chatty; in the kegger romp "Last Friday Night," she chirps, "Think I need a ginger ale/That was such an epic fail". Slant Magazine said that “"Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" is a lifeless roller-rink jam with a "T! G! I! F!" shout-along that will no doubt provide the soundtrack to any number of trashy sorority parties this semester". Spin Magazine said that "Last Friday Night recounts an evening of nonstop naughtiness – think streaking, skinny-dipping, and ménage à trois-ing.”

Now Magazine wrote, "The singer recently said that the catchy 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' is her version of 'I Gotta Feeling'. With lyrics about photos ending up online after a debauched evening, it’s also reminiscent of Lady Gaga singing about drunkenly losing her keys and phone on "Just Dance." Derivative, sure, but the song strikes a perfect equilibrium between Perry’s sex appeal and goofy, self-effacing charm". The A.V. Club said that "assuming that everything here is based on real life also means we have to accept that she’s had a ménage à trois on the indie-rock-meets-American Idol cut Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". The Washington Post said that "Over strummy guitars and zigzagging keyboards, Perry recounts an evening of debauchery with no repercussions, her innocent transgressions (streaking, skinny-dipping) mentioned in the same breath as more serious trouble (mysterious bruises, a blackout), but ... [when] it's time for Perry to reflect on her 3 a.m. follies, she stiffly sings, "That was such an epic fail." It sounds like a clueless parent's attempt to speak teenager.". Billboard included the song in their Five Potential Pop Hits for 2011 list.

"Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"

There's a stranger in my bed,
There's a pounding my head
Glitter all over the room
Pink flamingos in the pool
I smell like a minibar
DJ's passed out in the yard
Barbie's on the barbeque

There's a hickie or a bruise
Pictures of last night
Ended up online
I'm screwed
Oh well
It's a black top blur
But I'm pretty sure it ruled

Damn

Last Friday night
Yeah we danced on tabletops
And we took too many shots
Think we kissed but I forgot

Last Friday night
Yeah we maxed our credit cards
And got kicked out of the bar
So we hit the boulevard

Last Friday night
We went streaking in the park
Skinny dipping in the dark
Then had a menage a trois
Last Friday night
Yeah I think we broke the law
Always say we're gonna stop-op
Whoa-oh-oah

This Friday night
Do it all again
This Friday night
Do it all again

Trying to connect the dots
Don't know what to tell my boss
Think the city towed my car
Chandelier is on the floor
With my favorite party dress
Warrants out for my arrest
Think I need a ginger ale
That was such an epic fail

Pictures of last night
Ended up online
I'm screwed
Oh well
It's a blacked out blur
But I'm pretty sure it ruled

Damn

Last Friday night
Yeah we danced on table tops
And we took too many shots
Think we kissed but I forgot

Last Friday night
Yeah we maxed our credits card
And got kicked out of the bars
So we hit the boulevards

Last Friday night
We went streaking in the park
Skinny dipping in the dark
Then had a menage a trois
Yeah I think we broke the law
Always say we're gonna stop-op
Oh whoa oh

This Friday night
Do it all again
Do it all again
This Friday night
Do it all again
Do it all again
This Friday night

T.G.I.F.
T.G.I.F.
T.G.I.F.
T.G.I.F.
T.G.I.F.
T.G.I.F.

Last Friday night
Yeah we danced on table tops
And we took too many shots
Think we kissed but I forgot

Last Friday night
Yeah we maxed our credit cards
And got kicked out of the bar
So we hit the boulevard

Last Friday night

People are very crazy. What the fuck?

La gente está muy loca, you will become a little crazy during this song. Or you not get the tune out of your head again.
At the end of last year Sak Noel threw his song "Loca People" on the internet, and from then it grew into a downright hype in the clubs on the Costas.
The Spanish dj was born in Girona, in Catalonia. In the clip singer Esthera Sarita, who is from Bosnia, is not trying to hide her Bosnian accent, and that makes her "What The Fuck" in "Loca People" one of the finest ever.

Okay that we had to believe but Esthera Sarita is not from Bosnia but a Dutch girl.
Her real name is Esther Sarita. To let the name sound Spanish see stuck ' a ' stuck behind.
Last summer she worked in a nightclub. She worked there as a dancer, promoter and barmaid. One day she went, with a colleague of her, to Gerona to record a song for the anniversary of her boss. There she met Sak Noel and he was so impressed about her voice and accent that he recorded some vocals of her. So she is not from Bosnia but still a great accent.

Loca People

All day, all night [x8]
What the fuck!?

When I came to Spain and I saw people party
I told to myself: What the fuck!?
All day, all night
All day, all night
Viva la fiesta, viva la noche
Viva los DJ's
I couldn't believe what I was living
So I called my friend Johnny
And I said to him: Johnny,
La gente esta muy loca,
What the fuck!?

Johnny, la gente esta muy loca,
What the fuck!?

When I came to Spain and I saw people party
I told to myself: What the fuck!?

All day, all night
All day, all night
Viva la fiesta, viva la noche
Viva los DJ's
What the fuck!?
Viva la fiesta, viva la noche
Viva los DJ's
What the fuck!?
Viva la fiesta [repeat]
Viva...[repeat]

I couldn't believe what I was living
So I called my friend Johnny
And I said to him: Johnny,
La gente esta muy loca,
What the fuck!?

Johnny, la gente esta muy loca,
What the fuck!?

Pink weekend

A pink weekend it was last weekend, in real and in Second Life.
First there was the Pink Saturday here in Groningen.
Pink Saturday in Groningen went without significant incidents. Estimated between forty and fifty thousand people came to the party. The feast began Saturday with an ecumenical celebration in the Martini Church. During the service was entered on the theme "space of encounter '. Predecessor Mary Metzlar called on those present to listen to the other, even though that other another religion or a different cultural background.

No Pink Saturday is complete without parade. It was also participated by about 50 police officers and for the first time by the fire department.
A notable appearance in the Parade was the 40-metre-long Rainbow flag worn by showband Marum. The ' Euro Pride Flag ', as it is called, is specially flown in from Brussels and was already in Warsaw and Rome to admire.
During this Pink Saturday Groningen had the honour of this immense Rainbow flag to show to the public.
Members of the Groningen Municipal Council and employees of the municipality cycled in the parade on pink cycling.
The Feast was musically graced by several performances by, among others, Jim Bakkum, Miss Montreal and the Vengaboys. There was also a particular action of the anniversaries of Gruno's TNT Post harmony in cooperation with the gay choir "Zangzaad".
Next year Pink Saturday is in Haarlem.

In Second Life there was Friday the party at Open Minds. Again I forgot to make pictures.
Also I not made pictures at a party at Club7Arts
I did chat with Sevenart about gay movies and he recommend to watch Fellini's movie "Satyricon". Its one of his favourites, he told me. "Dead in Venice" is still one of my favourites. I did get a copy of "Satyricon" so I can watch it soon. It seems that good gay movies are made by Italians. ~grins~
Okay, Death in Venice is based on the novella Death in Venice by Thomas Mann and he was German.

Saturday we had our party at T.R.A.C.S. with DJ Racker. He did a great job and we hope we will have him back, as guest DJ, in September.
At 11 CET, the party at Fabulous starts, so when I cleaned the club and put off the lights, I went to the pub for the crazy shorts and skirts party.
Sunday (at 3 am CET) there is always the party at Coral Reef.
Ellbee is so often at our parties and I so less at Coral Reef that I got my Dutch flag swim trunks on at went to the party there.
Again I forgot to make pictures.

In Sweet Grass, also on Sunday, the Tattered & Torn Party.
Gany made the picture of the winners.
Last, but not least, I have to mention that Gins Allen have a concert on Friday July 8th.
