BIOMECHANICAL PARTY 2

It was not a easy job, for DJ Cat, to make a set in theme. But she made a great set, with songs that I did not hear for a long time and they all did fit wonderfully in the theme. No wonder, that I will never will be a DJ.

Here are the snapshots I made during the party.

DJ CAT
Cat's host Copper
DJ Cat's husband Clint
Rannom is mostly the first at the party
And John is mostly second after we start. Why would I ever ban him to get his part from the money giver??
It was wonderful to see my friend Curtis again

Biomechanical

Hans Ruedi Giger 5 February 1940 – 12 May 2014) was a Swiss artist best known for his airbrushed images that blended human physiques with machines, an art style known as "biomechanical". Giger later abandoned airbrush for pastels, markers and ink. He was part of the special effects team that won an Academy Award for the visual design of Ridley Scott's 1979 sci-fi horror film Alien. His work is on permanent display at the H.R. Giger Museum in Gruyères, Switzerland. His style has been adapted to many forms of media, including album covers, furniture, and tattoos.

Biomechanical may refer to:
Biomechanics, the application of mechanical principles to living organisms
Sports biomechanics, a quantitative based study and analysis of professional athletes and sports' activities in general
Forensic Biomechanics, use of biomechanics in litigation.
Biomechanics (Meyerhold), system of actor training developed by Vsevolod Meyerhold
Biomechanical art, the style of H. R. Giger and those influenced by him, like tattooist Guy Aitchison
Biomechanical (band), a progressive groove metal band from London, UK
Biomechanical engineering, a bioengineering subdiscipline which applies principles of mechanical engineering to biological systems
Biomechanical Toy, a scrolling shoot 'em up platform arcade game released by Gaelco in 1995

It may also refer to:
Bioengineering, the application of concepts and methods of biology to solve real-world problems
Biomaterial, any matter, surface, or construct that interacts with biological systems
Biorobotics, a term that loosely covers the fields of cybernetics, bionics and even genetic engineering as a collective study
Bioship, an organic spaceship
Biomechanoid, a cyborg
Organic (model), methods and patterns found in living systems
Ocean Machine: Biomech, the debut 1997 studio album by Canadian musician Devin Townsend

Robots, androids, automatons, humanoids, etc. - basically anything that links humans and machines. And there is a lot about biomechanical on Market place. So, I think easy for the guests to come in theme.

Working in the Mine snapshots

On Saturday, January 22nd, we had the Working in the Mine Party. Tim was the the deejay and he also did the text so I could make the flyer/invitation. Tim and I were surprised that all of a sudden artists of Sarabande came to the party. At the end of the party we heard that Red had organized it and she came by herself at the end. Thank you Red.
